This is an activity that we practice with a team under the direction of a guide and which permit to descend a river with big drops. The raft which we use is an inflatable and unsinkable craft : The raft is design to have more stability and provides more flexibility to navigate through natural barriers and obstacles than a rigid canoe.

At the end of the classical route : happy people!

This is a 5.5 km route of rapids with many calm areas to relax and play. You’re doing there the really beginning of the gorge in small class 3 rapids. This route is suggested for families and children.

The most popular route!

7 kilometers of pure pleasure awaits you. A progressively  difficult descent at the heart of Allier’s gorge with class 4 rapids to overcome like the “s”, the “triple chute” or “le deculottoir”.

Minimum age : 12

While descending through these 12 kilometers of 3-4 class rapids, you will encounter the “ex-infrans” (class 5) which is at the peak of intensity and thrills. Between the rapids, the Allier offers you large beaches where you can recover and swim in its water.
