This is the first 18 kilometers of the gorge which is named “l’Allier Sup.” And this is the place where we bring you for navigation. The landscape is wonderful and the difficulties changes from class 3 to 4.

The “ex-infran” (class 5), like the”triple chute” (class 4) and “le deculottoir” (class 4) are the most challenging rapids.

Our base is located in Pradelles, small village at 1200 meters of altitude.

We are at the end of the village, direction of Langogne, in the municipal complex with a swimming pool and a camping.

Located in Haute-Loire, Pradelles is in a cross road, perfectly located near the Allier and its navigable course, near Ardèche and Lozère.

By Road

Pradelles is located in the crossroad of the National Road 88 and 102 (RN 88 and RN 102).

Access :

-      From Aubenas (1 hour) : Take the RN 102 (direction Le Puy and Mende) and after the “col de la chavade” it’s only a few kilometre more until Pradelles.

-      From Le Puy (30 minutes) : Follow the RN 88 (direction Mende) through the Velay plateau

-      From Mende (30 minutes) : Follow the RN 88 (direction Le Puy) through the Margerides mountains.
